About Zhenhong Hu
I am currently a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Florida College of Medicine and the Intelligent Clinical Care Center (IC3). My academic training spans engineering, computer science, and biomedical engineering, with a bachelor’s degree in Electronic Information Engineering, a master’s degree in Computer Science, and a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering.
My research focuses on developing and applying advanced artificial intelligence and data-driven technologies to transform healthcare. Specifically, I leverage AI/ML, Agentic AI, multimodal representation learning, digital twins, extended reality (AR/VR/XR), and human-computer interaction (HCI) to support clinical decision-making, enable precision medicine, and improve patient outcomes. Through interdisciplinary collaborations, I seek to bridge technological innovation and clinical practice, translating cutting-edge computational methods into impactful solutions for patient care.
