Gainesville, Fla. – The University of Florida Department of Medicine proudly celebrated its 2025 Faculty Promotion and Tenure honorees at a ceremony on September 24th, 2025. The annual event recognizes the achievements of faculty members whose dedication, scholarship and leadership continue to uphold the department’s mission in clinical care, research and education.

The UF Department of Medicine honored faculty members promoted and tenured in 2025 during a celebratory event on September 24.

Each year, the Celebration of Faculty Promotion and Tenure for the UF Department of Medicine places emphasis on the importance of academic advancement and recognizes the dedication that faculty bring to their roles every day. These achievements continue to enrich the University of Florida’s academic community and enhance the quality of care that defines UF Health.

The 2025 honorees were recognized for their accomplishments and their colleagues reflected on the collective impact of their service to the department. The annual celebration highlighted the department’s strong culture of mentorship and collaboration, which continues to foster excellence and comradery across all divisions.
